BBL Laser Treatment London

For skin that moves with you – not against you

Sunspots from lying in the sun. Redness after a long run. Pigmentation that came back with your second baby. This is skin that’s lived in – and we love that. But we also know that skin confidence matters. And when you want fast, effective, and non-invasive treatment that fits around your life, BBL is it.

Broadband Light (BBL) Laser Treatment is the smarter cousin to traditional IPL. It tackles sun damage, rosacea, redness, pigmentation, fine lines and even acne – all with minimal downtime and visible results from the first session. Pair it with Moxi for even more results.

It’s the go-to for people who hike, parent, gym, Zoom, fly, sweat, and socialise – and want skin that keeps up.

Why it is best in class

Clinical research shows BBL laser treatment doesn’t just improve what you see on the surface—it can help skin behave more like younger, healthier skin at a genetic level (as verified by a Stanford University study). Treatments are fast, well tolerated, and highly consistent, meaning better results than other devices, with fewer side effects and minimal downtime. Hand-built in Palo Alto, California: it’s a treatment that delivers visible clarity and brightness, backed by science, not hype.

FAQs

How does BBL laser treatment work?

While technically not a laser, BBL is advanced light therapy that delivers quick, targeted bursts of photothermal energy to the skin. It stimulates collagen, renews skin cells, and leaves your complexion looking clearer, firmer, and brighter.

And unlike standard IPL, BBL treats multiple concerns at once – with fewer sessions. It’s powerful yet gentle, and customisable across wavelengths to suit your specific skin needs.

What can BBL help with?
  • Fine lines and wrinkles

  • Sun damage and pigmentation

  • Facial redness and broken capillaries

  • Rosacea and sensitive skin

  • Acne and inflammation

  • Uneven skin texture and tone

What to expect after laser treatment

Expect that ‘I’ve just had a facial and slept for 10 hours’.

You may be slightly red for a day and you’ll need to avoid sun exposure for a few days and wear SPF50 (which you’re already doing, right?). Your skin will continue to improve over the coming days as new, healthy cells come to the surface.

How many sessions do I need?

We recommend 3 – two a month apart and the third the following month if you need it, or you can ‘bank’ the third one for later in the year (which we are seeing a lot of patients doing as they achieve great results quickly).

Why are three BBL treatments recommended?

Most clients see visible results after just one session, but a course of three treatments is usually recommended for long-lasting results. This approach allows us to treat the deeper layers of the skin, encourage steady collagen renewal, and adapt the settings based on how your skin responds over time. Think of it as training your skin to function at its best.

Is BBL laser treatment painful?

Most people find BBL treatment very tolerable. You may feel a gentle warmth or slight snapping sensation, but it’s quick and doesn’t require numbing. There’s minimal downtime, so you can go back to your normal routine straight after.

How soon will I see results?

You’ll usually notice a difference within a few days—brighter tone, smoother texture, and reduced redness or pigmentation. Results continue to improve as collagen production kicks in over the following weeks.

Can BBL be used on all skin types?

BBL is suitable for fair to medium skin tones. If you have deeper skin tones, we’ll assess whether a different treatment (like laser genesis or peels) would be more suitable and safer for your skin. Every treatment is personalised and guided by clinical expertise.

How do I book?

Book a free laser consultation online via this link – often we can do treatment on the day if it is appropriate to do so, and if you’re happy too (please note, we won’t be able to do treatment if you have a tan/have been using strong products on your skin).

How much does BBL Laser Treatment cost?

BBL treatment: £450 per session
Special offer: Buy two sessions, get your third for just £95
Consultation is complimentary to give you time to chat it through.
