Seeing a Dermatologist with great reviews in London

You moisturise. You cleanse. You might even own three different serums (we’re not judging). But when your skin isn’t playing ball – when the flare-ups don’t go away or the pigmentation starts creeping in – you need more support.

You need a dermatologist.

In a city like London, where options are endless and time is tight, the real challenge isn’t finding a dermatologist – it’s finding the right one. Someone with credentials, empathy, and a track record that backs it all up. Someone who’s recommended, reviewed, and trusted by people like you.

If your skin is affecting your confidence, your comfort, or your quality of life – it’s time for some help.

So what does a dermatologist actually do?

We diagnose and treat skin conditions that range from the every day to the complex:
Acne that hasn’t cleared after months of over-the-counter products
– Rosacea that gets worse after every gym session
– Eczema that’s flaring because of stress, allergies or hormones
Moles that have changed, and need a professional’s eye

Dermatologists are medical doctors with advanced training in skin – and that matters. Because catching things early, like melanoma or psoriasis, can make all the difference.

Reviews matter. And so do results.

You want a dermatologist in London with great reviews – because you want peace of mind. You’re trusting someone with your largest organ, after all. At No. 23 Skin, we’re proud of the feedback our clients leave (check ours out below or on Google). Not just about the results (though those are great), but about how they felt seen, heard, and supported every step of the way.

As someone who has worked in the industry for a long time, here are my top 5 bits of advice for choosing a dermatologist:

  1. Check the dermatologist is registered with the GMC. This shows they are a real doctor and assessed alongside strict medical criteria on a regular basis.
  2. Is the clinic registered with the CQC? A bit like Ofsted for medical providers, this means they can provide medical treatments and are governed correctly.
  3. Check their reviews/speak to friends who have seen them. But do bear in mind that everyone’s skin is different and dermatologists can have specialist areas (such as hair or acne).
  4. Phone the clinic. It will be quite telling if you like the person on the end of the phone, and if they are responsive to your needs. This is very important because you want to know your questions will be answered in a timely manner – and that you can reach a dermatologist after your appointment (you’d be surprised at how many people remember something they want to tell the doctor as soon as they walk out the door…).
  5. Check availability. Often a Dermatologist will work one day a week privately, so do check in to find out if they are available when you are – particularly if you’re likely to need follow-ups. At No.23 we also offer online services to support you on days you can’t reach the clinic.

Don’t wait for your skin to get worse.

Seeing a dermatologist sooner means fewer flare-ups, faster results, and fewer missed days hiding behind makeup (or dodging the camera).

Whether you’re booking your first mole check or exploring long-term skin management for a chronic condition, we’ll meet you where you are – no fluff, no judgment, just clear, expert care.

Book your consultation with one of our experts today and take the first step towards better skin – and better confidence.
