Your Guide to Prepare for a mole removal in London

Having a mole removed can feel daunting, but our handy guides aim to give you all the information to give you the confidence to what to do before a mole removal in London. We have more information about how it works and what to expect here.

1. Do have a shower on the day of your mole removal

After the procedure, you will be asked to keep the area clean and dry for 24-48 hours. And it is best to avoid a soak in the bath for a week after the appointment.

2. Do take a vitamin D before and after the procedure as this can help with wound healing.

About 2-3,000 iu per day.

3. Don’t plan strenuous exercise for a few days

You are able to carry on with your day, but avoid exercises that are strenuous. Do ask your doctor if you’re unsure.

4. Do keep in touch

Your doctor is able to help you if you have any queries post-procedure. Follow the aftercare advice that is provided and give them a call if you need support. If you’ve had a procedure with us, then don’t hesitate to reach out on 02039411815.

‘Surgery’ can be an intimidating word, but rest assured we’re not talking 10 hours under the knife. We mean simple procedures for common blemishes, such as moles. All are done under local anaesthetic, and after, you can carry on with your day as before – but with better-looking skin.

Our Kensington clinic is regulated by the Care Quality Commission, meaning you’re in safe hands. And because we know how nerve-racking it can be to go through anything surgical (no matter how small), we’ll do everything we can to put you at ease.

Contact us if you’re interested in a minor procedure and we’ll talk you through it. Our number is 02039411815 or email us at hello@23skin.co.uk.

Good skin days, always.
